Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voices are the major focus of this unit. Though it appears difficult and confusing to a very great extent, the unit tries to use the simplest possible means to make it easy to understand. Table charts and examples are used to explain different modal verbs and suggestions are offered as well to make both learning and teaching them simple and pleasant.It was very helpful seeing a video of a lesson being held. There was such a contrast between the lessons and It made me realise how important having a positive attitude is in teaching. Just having a smile can change the vibe of the classroom. The teacher in the second lesson seemed to really enjoy himself and that rubs off on the students. Also miming help with the explanation a lot.
