This lesson was beneficial in respects to helping a teacher understand the importance of different types of course materials that should be used throughout the entirety of a classroom course. I like that it gives you examples of different types of material that would be suitable to teach a class. It'll allow me, as a teacher, to reference them and draw my own exercises and activities to provide my classes with once I begin teaching. I especially liked that the lesson drew on the importance of authentic materials. For me especially, when I was learning a different language I found a lot of use from songs and music.
