This unit has given me the opportunity to learn methods and techniques that will enable me to teach effectively. Specifically, I found the different theories and methods of engaging, studying, and activating particularly exciting. I have learned that these methods approach teaching from a more holistic point of view in terms of considering and being sensitive to the students psychological and emotional needs while learning and retaining. I found great value in the feedback stage description. Specifically, being attuned to cultural differences and how students view the teacher, as well as, timing was beneficial to consider.
