Unit Four focuses on the present tenses used in English. The four types of present tenses includes present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. The lesson breaks down each type by explaining the rules for how to use them in various forms which may include how to use them in affirmative, positive, negative, and question forms. There were also examples of common mistakes and errors there are made among students that learn English which is helpful to know. By knowing the common mistakes and errors it will make the teacher prepared on how to tackle the issue and help students understand the material so that they can improve on their usage of present tenses. The lesson also does an excellent job of explaining the purpose of each form. As a native English speaker this is information that is easy to take for granted. However, reviewing the tenses and their forms is a good way to learn how to explain and teach this material to students.
