In this unit, I learned about the different teaching methods and styles, including the ESA, which appears to be the most popular framework for teaching English to non-native speakers. As someone who has had limited teaching experience, it was good to have this lesson as it will help prepare me when preparing and performing lessons for students in the most effective way. There are a lot of activities and styles to go with when teaching and perhaps the best way to pick which one works best is by looking at the age group and background of the students, knowing which activities will go over best with certain groups.
