From all the units referred so far, this unit took the maximum time in reading, understanding and absorbing the details provided it. This unit helps me understand the importance of pronunciation and phonology and that there should be dedicated time provided to this part of the language so that the students are aware of the importance of accuracy and clarity of communication.
As a fluent speaker of the English language, I do use intonations and stress on important words to convey the right message to the receiver, however this unit helped me understand how these important things can be taught to the learners of the language. I am very glad to go through this lesson to understand the basics of phonology and teaching techniques for pronunciation.
