This Unit was tough but a great opportunity to reflect on the present tense while learning the past tense. I like that the tenses are separated because it gives your mind a chance to digest the materials. It's also great because you learn strategies for teaching this material to students. After reading the materials and watching the videos I feel prepared to teach a group of non-english speakers the past tense. I can understand why English can be difficult to learn because although I speak English, learning the rules of the language is challenging. The activity for this unit was very useful because it gave me a chance to apply the knowledge gained through the reading.
