This unit looks at the topic of lesson planning; although this is not always agreed upon, it can be useful when preparing for classes, especially for inexperienced teachers. The unit covered what to consider in your lesson plans; from this I have learnt to think about not only the learners' objectives, but my personal teaching aims as well. I feel this is important as it will help me to focus on areas of teaching that I need to improve, and also to assess my lessons more critically. Looking at monitoring lessons is also an important factor, as it will help me to reflect on which activities were successful or not, and if my students are reaching their objectives effectively.
