this unit build the foundation for teaching english especially for someone like me, as i do not possess the knowledge or skills to teach english as a language. The unit covers theories and techniques that one must use to succeed at teaching, and thereby lays the foundation stone. It provides the methodologies that are available for me to use which can be adopted based on my teaching style, culture of the students, their ability and needs. Most importantly the unit lays out the \"ESA\" Framework which obviously is an effective method of teaching English. The theory also provides techniques and ideas that can be used for each of the Engage, Study, Activate, phases respectively and also the three different formats of ESA Lessons. Finally, the unit concludes with Feedback and Correction, both equally important aspects of teaching - it has helped me understand how i can adapt my previous knowledge and exposure acquired through business experience.
