A teacher can get many different types of groups or individual students and should be prepared and aware of the differences between these groups. Each requires a different kind of attention and activities. Per example, between teaching children and business people (is there a gender neutral businessmen?), the first group requires short periods for each activity while changing it's form often to keep their attention, simple rewards are also a fun way to motivate them all the while repeating a lot and keeping the class disciplined, on the other hand, business associates have more specific needs and are not as easily motivated as giving them stickers, they are also more aware of their need and it is easy to discuss it with them.
