In the last unit of this course I learned about troubleshooting and common problem situations that I may encounter as a future teacher in the classroom and I received suggestions and advices in order to deal with them.
I studied about the first lessons and suitable activities that will help me to establish rapport between the students and also between me and my students, to find out about them and their interests, aspirations along with the English level of each individual class member.
I read about short, fun activities designed to get students motivated and using English- Warmer ideas such as: hangman, pictionary, tongue twisters and memory games.
I learned as well about difficulties with listening texts, different levels, reluctant students or when dealing with large classes. Another problematic issue will be the use of the native language in monolingual classes.
