Teaching English around the world can be to a range of different students. This unit focuses on the differences of teaching adults, children, teaching business English and multilingual classes. There a pros and cons to teaching all of these different groups. Some things will be harder and other easier depending on the group. For example teaching children or beginners may require more visual usage and simple concepts than teaching a business class. The class should be structured to accommodate these differences. The teacher should also be prepared to abandon lesson plans completely if the case so requires.
