This unit gives a good overview of all the different types of resources that are at a teacher's disposal inside the classroom. Many of them are a mainstay of the classroom such as whiteboards, and flash cards. Others are newer such as DVD's and IWB's (Interactive white boards) and others are fading from usage such as cassette players and overheard projectors. It's important to know when to use these materials to the best benefit of the students. Keep in mind your school's budget and ability to provide certain materials before the class. It's always important to keep organized and have all your materials and resources ready before class.
