Unit 17 focused on lesson equipment and teaching aids. This involved the use of range of items that can assist students by improving engagement, assisting in language exposure or pronunciation. Various equipment was covered including over head projectors, interactive white boards and CD players. The unit provided a description on how best to use these in a classroom. In addition to this, Unit 17 outlined a number of different websites that can be used as resources. They included topics such as dictionaries and, literature and poetry. This was a useful unit as teachers need to be aware of the range of aids that are available depending on the school that they are in. It will serve as a beneficial guide for future reference.
