Although I understood that English Language would cause some difficulties for a non native speaker, I had not considered the ways to address this, such as using mouth diagrams, using your own mouth to over emphasise parts of words and also peer diction, where a student reads out a sentence and the partner writes in down. As these are practical and easy to use I think they would be beneficial in the classroom. The intonation is also important and somethings I hadn't thought of when teaching English but as the intonation of a sentence can carry different messages it is important to work on this with the students.
