A lesson plan should be simple. Well structured and maintain the same structure. It should contain the anticipated time for each activity. Flexible and open for adaptation.
To be well organised, always check that you have your lesson plan, make sure you have all the necessary aids and materials needed. Arrange the sitting as desired, clean board. Always be ready to chat with the students as they come into class.
A lesson plan should contain: learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time and teacher's and observer's names.
