This unit helped me understand the importance of helping students develop their speaking and writing skills. The writing tasks are often neglected by teachers, since they take time, and they create a quiet classroom. Writing is very important, because students get to learn and practice the spelling of words, and the more often they use them, the faster they will learn. For some students latin alphabet is not known, as such they need to learn how to write latin letters. While speaking might seem easier than writing, because students' mistakes can go unnoticed, pronunciation is as important as spelling correctly when writing. Often students lack confidence in talking before others, so practicing this skill is very important for them to overcome the fear.
