This unit describes about how the material should be for teaching language. There are 2 types of material 1 is authentic and the other is created. The authentic material consist of newspapers, magazines, videos, songs,poems,etc.whereas the created material includes crosswords,role plays,word searches etc.They have also emphasised on the advantages and disadvantages of both the types of material. They have also focused on the course books and the advantages and disadvantages of course books. They have also helped us understand the collaboration of course book with the created material for better teaching and learning of language.
