As a teacher, especially the one whose teaches different kinds of students, it?s normal that we will meet people who have different ages, backgrounds and nationalities and so on. Not like teaching in a high school or college, our students? class attendance will be from 1 to many. It?s always good to learn about basic theory to study more about how to deal with various class situations. Common knowledge offers teachers, especially new ones the skills and mental preparation to get ready for the real class. Without this, teachers will be panicked when they have to face with the unexpected challenges. But one thing that we need to bear in mind is, every individual is different. They have their own experience and the requirement. We have to know the basic class teaching theory well for sure, plus practice on adapting our teaching way according to the students' real needs. This is a teacher, no matter how long has he/she been working as a teacher, needs to remember.
