This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit is basically about how to teach new language and the different methods and ESA styles for each part of language being taught. During the chapter it does keep saying this is not the proper/correct way and that teachers can choose the way they think is best I personally don't use the straight arrow way unless I really have to and normally only use it for short classes and much prefer a patchwork method but the way this unit has shown the lesson plans is great and I often have classes like this with few differences like for vocab I prefer boomerang as my students are very young and I use the activate stage more.
