In this unit, I have reviewed material regarding the successful implementation of lesson plans. One of the main points that was reinforced in this unit was the fact that the manner and disposition of the teacher toward the students has a great impact on student learning. For example, in the first lesson, the students did not seem to catch on very well to the material, as a result of the teacher?s attitude. I myself would have felt annoyed and somewhat bullied by the teacher in this classroom. He repeated that the material was ?Very easy;? however, it obviously would not have been easy to someone who had not learned it previously. Had I been present as a student in this class, I likely would have stopped paying attention. In the second lesson, in contrast, the teacher was friendly, upbeat, and engaging; as a result, the students seemed to comprehend and employ the material much more effectively.
