When learning present tenses in another language repetition is important because it is different with every language. Although it can seem tiresome is is necessary in order for things in future lessons to make sense. As seen in the chapter there are many mistakes to be made because of combining the different tenses and then in thinking about their native language. Speaking during these lessons will be important because hearing the mistakes being made is easier to catch as opposed to seeing it on paper. Even with English being a native language it is still suggested to students writing papers to read them out loud in order to hear the mistakes being made. This means it is even more important to hear the language and structure for those learning it as a second or foreign language.
