This lesson was valuable because of how it broke down the teaching of grammar and vocabulary as different from functions of a language and then described what types of ESA lessons would be best to use to teach. Being able to see the sample lesson plans for the different teaching points was great because it allowed me the opportunity to see the ESA style in action in regards to how to teach the language. Whereas before we learned about the different things that can be carried out in each stage and what the purposes of each lesson style could be used for, here we were able to see the lesson actually being up into use in a very easy way to understand. Through reviewing this unit over and over, I will be able to be prepared to teach language to students with a basic framework in mind that I can then change and mold to the students that I have.
