This unit is very useful for any new teacher. It covers all the different aspects of teaching special groups and it is very well presented.
Teaching children is definitely the most rewarding experience. I am always very exited before class, and very happy afterwards. They appreciate what I'm doing and are very fast in picking up the language, even though I don't speak their L1.
The part about notorious cancellation of one-to-one business lessens is also very true. For me these lessons are very demanding because I have to be fully alert for the entire lesson. I have to make sure to teach correct language and not to loose concentration during the lesson, for a double lesson this is real hard work! Also preparation is more work intensive than for a normal class.
