They are usually catered to the English level of the students. Course books are a set of teaching materials that consist of a student's book, workbook, cassettes, teacher's book and so on. Although using the course book has various advantages such as offering a tried and tested syllabus with a balanced mix of all language skills, it is crucial for teachers to be able to select the right one to cater the needs of the class.
