This unit tackles pronunciation, which is an aspect that is often neglected in teaching the English language. However, mastering pronunciation and phonology helps students speak more naturally and thus, boosts confidence. In order for the students to make progress with pronunciation, the teacher must help them understand the meaning and functions of intonation and stress in communication.
