In this unit I learned about the different methodologies a teacher uses to teach their class. There are many different methodologies and all of them have their uses depending on your style of teaching and your schools? ideas of teaching. ESA lesson looks like a great way to get your students excited to be in class because it appears very student centered. The teacher is merely a facilitator for the students learning. By letting the students freely engage in the early part of the lesson they feel comfortable in the classroom environment. Then, the students will be more willing to listen and excited to do the closing activity. The patchwork plan for the ESA approach provides a lot of flexibility to ensure everyone in class understands.
