The unit covers may of the techniques that can be used when teaching students, ranging from the use of case studies, biographies, or various games adapted to accompany a teaching point. The internet is also a valuable source of authentic material, whether it be to study business letters or e-mails, read company reports or study business biographies. It was interesting to note how frameworking is used to describe the process of change and how the problem based learning methodology lets students work in groups to solve problems. All in all quite a complex unit, but one that provided most helpful examples of lesson planning and materials for future use.
