This unit is about classroom management. The importance of eye contact, gestures and the voice were covered. I learned about Student groupings with the whole class, individual, pair work and groups. Also, the unit showed how to arrange the classroom in orderly rows, circles and horseshoes or separate tables in small groups. Lastly, it is important to avoid turning the back to the students when writing on the board, give individual attention and the teaching talking time versus the student teaching time. Also the importance of giving instructions, establishing rapport and maintaining discipline.
