This unit covered all of the teaching aids one may use in the classroom. Even some slightly outdated methods, such as cassette tapes, were also covered. The unit suggests that any of these tools can be effective in the classroom, if the teacher is prepared and knows how to use them properly. Also, the unit indicated which tools are almost always provided in a classroom, such as a board of some kind and access to photocopiers, and also which items may be provided but are not guaranteed, such as an interactive white board/smart board. Additionally, the unit provided multiple outside resources that can be used in the classroom, such as online dictionaries, worksheet sources, and video resources.
