Modal verbs are used to add depth to other verbs, and when teaching modal auxiliary verbs it is probably easier to teach one at a time in the context of an engaging topic. The video lessons in unit ten were a great example of teaching the modal auxiliary verb \"can't\". The passive voice is when the sentence object becomes the subject of the sentence, to use if the do-er of the action is less important than the subject of the action. Relative clauses could be a difficult concept to grasp, because many native English speakers mistake defining and non-defining relative causes. This concept should be taught to higher level learners. Phrasal verbs are verbs that require multiple words for the meaning to make sense. For example, \"put\" has a different meaning to \"put up with\".
