Overall, this was a good video lesson to learn of effective teaching.When I began teaching, speaking slowly and clearly was something that took getting used to; I was too nervous and self-conscious that it reflected in my speech. Now, even if I get flustered in class, I can speak slowly and clearly. However, similar to the instructor in the second video, there are times when the students don?t do the Activity as instructed, and I know it?s up to me to have clear examples and models for the students to do the work properly. As mentioned in a previous chapter, it?s up to me to anticipate the student?s problem and plan accordingly.
