Unit three presents a vast range of different theories about 'what works' when teaching english as a second language. Within these theories, it depicts what methods are best practice and how you can practically apply them in your teaching practice. As you go through the unit, examples of activities and tasks are provided, suggesting tasks that range from ice breakers, play learning and more group and teacher structured activities. At the conclusion of this unit a break down is given about 'correction'. What is it? When is it appropriate? and how it looks like within a class setting. A Lesson plan structure is then placed at the final stage of the unit.
