This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit taught the reader about modal verbs, the passive voice, and phrasal verbs. Modal verbs are often \"helping verbs\" that can change the meaning and tone of what is being said, like \"I swim\" and \"I can swim.\" (The first states what can be done and then next states what that the speaker has permission to do something.) The passive voice is normally used when the action is done by an unknown person or thing, the \"do-er\" isn't important, or when the speaker doesn't what the \"do-er\" to be mentioned. Finally phrasal verbs are meant to be used alongside prepositions, adverbs, and so on.
