Past tenses are a little similar to present tenses with the exception that it involves the past rather than the present. All continuous forms of past tense require the English language to add ?ing? to the verb in the sentence. For past simple, it can be confusing for English learners because there are a lot of irregular verbs that the learner will just have to memorize because there is no method on how to help students identify which verbs are irregular, other than the fact that the verb cannot add an ?ed? to the end of it. Past tenses are not difficult to learn if you already know how to use present tenses.
