This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The difference in the two class lecture examples was striking. In the first example video, the lecturer didn't smile often if at all. His attitude was too negative and his speech and diction were incoherent at times. The presentation of the subject matter of modal auxiallary verbs was terse and seemed beyond the grasp of the students' understanding. Later points of grammar such as the difference between can and could were incongruous with the the flow of information. There did not seem to be much planning of the presentation. In the second lecture the instructor had a much more positive and enthusiastic approach. He wanted to be there and this was more evident in his attitude and mannerisms than in the first presentation. This helped to produce more engagement by the students in turn. They were more vocal and activated and alert.
