This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I have learned a lot about the future tense, there are 7 forms, but only Be going+Infinitive and The present continues are the most frequently used. Besides, there are fewer differences between different forms. Especially for \"will\" and \"be going to\", it's rather different for students to tell them, for \"will\", we use it based on present evidence , which opposed to \"be going to\" that we used based on present evidence.
What's more, \"shall\" is usually used in making suggestions and invitations, while \"will\" can be used for other conditions.
Besides, using \"The present continuous with future meaning \" is difficult to tell from the real \" Present continuous \". However, we can distinguish through the context and situation. \"The present continuous with future meaning\" is usually for arrangements or plans we have already decided. And we don't need to give the exact time.
Sometimes \"present simple\" is also used for future tense. But it refers to the timetable and schedules. We should show more examples to let students feel the meaning in the whole context and let them have a clear idea how to use them in different situations.
For \"Future Perfect\"and \"Future Perfect Continuous\", we have to give students more practices to make them remember the grammar structures, which they are easy to make mistakes when they use in oral English and written form.
