In unit 3 we learn about different teaching techniques and methods. Using methods like grammar translation can help teach English by using their language equivalent which can be handy. I also like the task based learning method using task completion. I think my biggest take away from lesson 3 is the section about Engage, Study, Activate (or ESA) for teaching. Motivation is key for learning and ESA is a methodology filled with motivation. I also enjoyed the tips on correction. I know as a child I enjoyed self and peer correction. I also like how my teachers didn't try to embarrass me with correction which also something that was talked about in this chapter.
