I really enjoyed this section. I felt that learning to read sounds in phonetic script is very helpful for teaching pronunciation. I remember being fascinated by these things during my time in university. I really enjoyed taking the time to read through these sections. Some parts were a little confusing, especially the last question. All of the words, seem to be parts of the body, so I was not really sure which one did not fit into the grouping. It is fun to try to read the words and sentences in phonetic script, but I can see how that could become very difficult for students to follow along. However, having the tools to tell how a word is actually pronounced in text is very useful and seeing where the words are formed in the body was also great to go through as well.
