This unit focused on teaching beginners, children, and business English. Beginners are not always true beginners. Sometimes students can be false beginners(studied before but did not retain much). Adult beginners tend to be more motivated than young beginners.
Teaching children has it`s unique points to keep in mind. For example, kids can become bored very easily so it important to keep the class fun with more short activities which change often. Positive encouragement and pointing out mistakes so much is very important for kids as that is how they learned their native language when they first started speaking.
Business students usually have a purpose for learning English. Often, learning English is a requirement for their job. For this reason, It`s important to assess the student(s) learning needs and goals at the start of the lesson.
