The writing of lesson plan is very important especially for inexperienced teachers to plan their lessons effectively. The lesson plan can be an aid to planning, help us to keep on target, and act as a record. There is no fixed way in which a plan must be written but it should be kept simple, flexible and open to adaptation. I have learned to include learner objectives, teaching aids, phase, timing and interaction in my lesson plan. I think these elements are very important because it helps us to run the lesson smoothly. Sometimes if we forget something or get lost of track, the lesson plan is a great document to refer to during the lesson.
