This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I think that knowing how difficult this unit will be when I teach it to students is helpful. I want to make sure that I carefully present the material to the students and allow them to fully digest the material. I also think that it will be important to, as the unit said, present the phrasal verbs as almost their own words/vocabulary. Doing this will hopefully avoid some of the confusion that could arise. I also want to make sure that as I teach about passive, I help students realize the different tones that active and passive voice communicates. In English, we like the active voice more, so telling my students this can help them learn some of the nuances of the English language.
