This unit was full of information concerning how to teach certain groups of students. It explored the details of business English, and gave ways to properly teach it, including use of the needs analysis. Another area described was the teaching of children.The unit suggested a willingness to make fun of one's self and a lax attitude when it comes to pronunciation. What I learned from this lesson specifically was not to use the native language of children. I was under the impression that doing so might help to explain difficult words, but I realize now that it only serves to enable students to revert back to their language.
