I really enjoyed this unit, as it made me reflect on my own teaching skills as a swim teacher, and how I manage my lessons and all the different personalities and behaviours that I'm faced with on a daily basis. It also makes you look back on when you were a student, and what teachers you related best with, and why? What seems to work best for me, is being firm, but fair, incorporating all the various disciplinary styles, and once you have explained a task, getting the students to say it back to you so they have understood is vital from my experiences. This particular video was a lot clearer than the previous one, I appreciated the zooming in on the text, as the last one I could barely read what was written on the whiteboard. This unit also taught me how I can teach individuals english, without having to know their native language (this is something I want to learn, but was curious to see how it was possible to do so without having learnt it).
