I have learnt about pitching my lessons to the correct audience and fitting the requirements of my target group. For example, teaching young learners require many fun filled short activities to keep their attention and ensure they don't get bored or distracted. They need plenty of positive reinforcement and encouragement. Its important to know the distinction between teaching different groups and individuals so you can match your teaching methods accordingly.
