This unit covered what is needed when preparing your lesson. For a new teacher, this unit is extremely helpful because it shows the teacher an organized way to do the lesson and also a way to create flow within the lesson as well. This unit highlights the importance of focusing on the objectives you need to set for the students and requires the teacher to also think of the problems they may encounter when teaching the objectives. This unit also shows the importance of the teaching looking at their performance in the lesson and how that is important as well so that the teacher is aware of his or her weaknesses before entering the classroom. Overall, this unit was very useful and shared many good and interesting ideas to help in the planning of a lesson.
