This lesson is a continued overview on how one may go about teaching a range of aspects of the English Language, namely, vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. It explains that there are four things language learnings need to be able to do with their new language: have exposure to it, understand the word meanings and grammatical meanings/implications, understand how the language is constructed, as well as being able to both practice and produce said language. This lesson then goes on to illustrate how one can teach these aspects through the previously elaborated Engage-Study-Activate, or ESA, methods. Overall this lesson gave insight into how a teacher can introduce new aspects of a language while still maintaining relevancy for the students and their needs.
