This unit explained the different parts of planning a lesson - which goals to create, which details to plan out, what things to anticipate, etc. It was useful to think through the different aspects of what goes into planning a lesson and to be reminded of the need for flexibility throughout all of it. The lesson also emphasized the ways in which inexperienced teachers should plan their lessons out in greater detail than teachers who have more experience and know what details and notes they need to make to keep the class \"on track.\" Finally, this unit emphasized the need to evaluate the success of the lesson afterwards as a way of self-evaluation.
