This lesson was very interesting, because it demonstrated 2 teaching styles, one of which was ineffective and the other of course very effective. In the first video, the teacher was clearly going out of his way to alienate the students and make the class uninteresting and unproductive. In the second video, the teacher was engaging, entertaining, interesting and respectful. The second one also helped to reinforce the engage, study and activate portions of the lesson, and gave me some ideas for how to run a class on the modal \"can\" and \"can't\". In addition, I also noticed some things I might do differently in the second lesson to even further improve it, such as teach a bit more about the modal itself, so as to distinguish it as a modal, and to explain the difference between the pronunciation of \"can\" and \"can't\" as well as how to put the stress on each one in a sentence.
