In this unit you can see how important is the methodology in the process of both teaching and learning. For example, when I was a student in Spain all my English teachers used the same methodology, Grammar- translation. In my humble opinion that only way of teaching a L2 is not the proper one. One of the reasons is because the students tend to think in their own language before, and then they translate into the new language. As a result of that, many errors arise. For instance. there are different grammatical rules between Spanish and English (e.g the place of the adjectives in a sentence) , therefore, it is not the same to say in 'a brown dog' that ' a dog brown'.
In conclusion, I have acquired a deeper knowledge not only about different methodologies but also the different steps within ESA lesson with a wide variety of examples.
